When using an ATI video card objects at the airports are disappearing.

Applies To

RealFlight G2
RealFlight G2 Lite

Summary

When using an ATI Radeon video card objects at the airport disappear. This occurs particularly after the aircraft crashes into any of these objects.

Resolution

This is a known problem with the latest ATI Radeon drivers. There are a couple of other situations that have a similar effect in RealFlight.

While we don't have a definite solution for this issue, we do have a workaround that will prevent these objects from disappearing.

With the RealFlight software running, click on the Options menu, then the Direct3D… option. In the Direct3D… tab click on the Use Hardware Vertex Processing if Available. This will disable this option and should eliminate the disappearing objects difficulty.
